".........I attended John St. Senior Secondary school from 1948
to 1952 and I have lost touch with a lot of friends, due mostly to
moving around the country. I have tried to contact my best
friend at school (not in this photo) Helen Tidecastle - she married
James Scott who is in the John St School 1952
class photo of this fantastic website! " |

May 2021, mail, Angela Brannigan, Age 46, Lossiemouth
Third Row same row as teacher. Number 8 ( second one in from right hand
side) this was my mum ( sadly passed in Feb 2018). Her name then was
Helen MacFarlane.
My mums friend Jenny MacFarlane ( not related) is also in the picture
but not sure which one she is. I am going to send her the picture and
she may be able to give some other names.

No 6 at the back row is my mum, Elizabeth Blackburn Melrose (Betty
Melrose) married name - Chisholm.
She tragically passed away in 1967 age
30 and left 3 young children. My mum�s pal was Agnes McInally I know
she moved to Canada but I don't recognise her in this photo. It would
be nice to get in touch with anyone who remembers my mum.
