BB Glasgow Battalion show DRUMBEAT 1978

Kelvin Hall, Glasgow......130th BB Bugle Band at the front & 219th
Flute Band at the rear.
We played Annies Song & Eye level as our own spot then 'semper fideles' with
the bugle band.
We were the first flute band to play at Drumbeat which was a great success,
special mention was also given that we were wearing the new BB uniform, navy
blue shirt.

John Laird, Hugh Hollis, Mark Laird, Graham Smith, Richard McManus,
Bruce Fyfe, John McCracken & David Graham.
Officers : Lt.W.E.McArthur (webmaister), Lt.Mike Middleton Bass Drum.

This
event took place in the Banqueting Hall, 65 boys were presented also
invited were their
Captains and their parents
approx 250 people were in attendance with the Chief Constable of
Strathclyde Police,
Sir Patrick Hamill the guest of honour.
