Streets of Glesga ...........Landressy Place

Landressy Place ( know as Landressy St when I was a boy ), Bridgeton.
Looking across James St into Landressy St you can see the Keystane Bar

.

Landressy Place is dominated by Carmichael House a home for the elderly situated in the heart of Bridgeton. The home has 39 individual bedrooms and offers 24 hour care.
.

I visited this home for the first time
today and was very impressed.
Welcoming staff and the home
 was spotlessly clean.

I was at the home to see 90yr old
 Wullie 'swagger' Watson
a well known character in Bridgeton

See Wullie's flute band
photos from 1935 & 1953

Oct. 2004 - Wullie 'swagger' Watson born 3rd Sept 1914.
