The wall tae the right hand side of the picture is the auld Calton Cemetery,

Inside this quite dilapidated cemetery (the gates are open most days) 

...

Sadly this graveyard, for all its historical significance, is in a sorry state of repair. Lets hope that the council can include it in their regeneration programme of the east-end and bring the graveyard back to its former glory and indeed encourage visitors. I would also like to see local schools visiting this graveyard to learn about these local martyrs..........learn from the past use well the future.
