".........please find attached a scanned copy of the
school report card as you requested. It is dated 27th October 1944
which is only days after my da' turned 14. He went to start work, still at
age 14 and still in his short troosers and completed an engineering
apprenticeship.
I already posted an old school photo of my da's believing it to have been
Bernard Street but a bit of detective work by yourself established it was
his primary school photo. (Queen Mary Street Primary)
