'Bridgeton Burns Club' medal from 1904 uncovered !

After reading about Bridgeton Burns Club on this website one of my Glesga Pals contacted me........

"....... Wull, I have my Aunt Annie Fraser's  medal that she won in a singing competition at the Bridgeton Burn's Club in 1904 aged fourteen.
She died in the influenza epidemic in 1914 whilst going steady with a fellow and making plans for their engagement party when she took ill. The man' s name was R.S.McColl of the newsstand fame!"

Impressive eh!  What a beautiful medal and I am delighted, as is Ron, that we can share it with the world in Glesga Pals website.

"Wull.......I thought the way you showed the pictures was just fabulous.  Then again what else could you expect from the Glesga Pals Webmaister!  Another excellent job, but I wonder how  you get the time to work on everything that you do.
Believe me, it is much appreciated."
