Her strength of spirit was inspirational,
Her sense of humour was brilliant
Her will to live was indomitable, her presence was sparkling
Her compassion was without reluctance, her sensitivity was poetic
Her defiance of pain was Herculean, her generosity was boundless
Her love of children was tender, her love of animals was maternal
  1959 - 1989
Her love of music was sustaining,
Her knowledge of ballet and theatre was encyclopedic
Her intellect was challenging, her sense of style was dramatic
Her modesty was honest, her honesty was real
Her effect on people was irresistible,
Her expressions of love were uninhibited
Her friendship was golden, her energy is indestructible
Because of her impact on all of our lives...Her immortality is assured.

"Webmaister Will..... Just beautiful!  Hud a wee Greet! .... The work you have done is way beyond my expectations.  I cannot thank you enough, just know you have made me very happy!!!"

~ ~ ~

11th Nov 2014 - after a long fight with illness, sadly oor GlescaPal Chrissie passed away.  I had the pleasure of meeting Chrissie, many many times and my first meeting with her was in 2003 when we met up to discuss a family webpage. She was very keen to have a memorial to her family and her late beloved daughter.  In the early years of GlescaPals she was an ever present poster on our messageboard and for a wee wummin she wasn't afraid to argue her case. Latterly her eyesight deteriorated and she wasn't able to post then she fought her last years with cancer. Norrie and I visited her at her home in Newton Mearns when she was on pallative care and she made us very welcome and was asking about her GlescaPals........ Webmaister.

GlescaPal Beth, in South Africa said "Chrissie was a great strong minded Pal. Brilliant contributor to the main board and never afraid to speak her mind She has been missed for a while during recent times, but she will be greatly missed for a long time to come by all GlescaPals"
