November 2006

I was over the green November 2006 just after Remembrance Day and I went a walk along to the HLI monument.
Took a photo of these 5 wreaths honouring the men of the HLI who fell in the Great War 1914 - 1918

I was disappointed that only 3 organisations were represented - congratulations to them - but why was this I wonder?

Parents and schools should ensure our children learn about our country's history and of the sacrifices that were made.
