Two Old Firm fans share a snog after polishing off a bottle of Buckfast in an
anti-bigotry painting by Glasgow artist
Ashley Rawson.
Prints of the image entitled Glasgow Kiss have proved a best-seller for Ashley
who is completing a series of 12 images of ned. culture on canvas.
He hopes they will help the fight against sectarianism saying, " They're meant
to be nice wee paintings that emphasise 'love conquers all'. I wanted to show we
don't have to choose to hate each other."
Politics graduate Ashley, sells prints of his originals as a gallery in
Glasgow's Princes Square shopping centre. He added "The Old Firm kissing picture
is a favourite with the ladies." ...........
