Streets of Bridgeton                                        .

Greenhead Street, Dassie Green

Extract from e-mail, Aug. 2002 T.Pettit, Scotland.
(email tba )
I am sending you a photograph of......the Dassie Park, Glasgow Green,
sorry to spoil it by posing in front of the water fountain.......
webmaster : this photo was taken 1949/50

.
Photo below taken Sept.2002, sorry to report once again a once beautiful park is now in need of care. Water fountain has been vandalised  and the greenkeepers obviously have more  important parks to look after......to be fair its not all the council's fault, local neds obviously use this park as their litter is everywhere.  Why do teenagers destroy and ruin their environment?
Grafitti and litter ... my two pet hates!!
