219th Glasgow BB, Bridgeton

Well Glesga Pals has done it again !
I was contacted by some of the boys who had seen their photos on the website and it was decided we should have a mini-reunion.
MARCH 2005.... So I organised a wee meet in a local Indian restaurant and from there we headed to my local club where we enjoyed the facilities!
Not everyone contacted could make it but those who did had a great time.

Jas & I, the two officers hadn't seen some of these 'boys' since they left the company when they were 16 yrs old........well nearly 30 years later ......here we are!

( others who couldn't make it this time were Capt Tom Williams, Mike Middleton, Jim Howe, Joe Lancaster, Ronnie McGivens, John Forbes )

Everyone still lives in and around Glasgow and we had a wonderful time catching up on the lost years and reminiscing about our BB days. Everyone took it in turn to give us a potted history of their life from leaving the BB till the present and it really was a super get together.............. we blethered and laughed all evening!

..

JULY 2005 another wee get-together

The Skipper, who lives near Leicester, was up in Scotland for a wedding and I took the opportunity to get some of the auld gang along.

Ian Sharp, Jim Howe, Mike Middleton, Skipper Tom Williams, Martin Howe, Webmaister

Another fabulous evening of riotous laughter! It was particularly nice to see Jim Howe who made a special visit from Skegness to attend this evening. Most of us have not seen the Skipper for a number of years but as usual when we all get together it's like we've never been apart.........great bunch of guys.
Later on in the evening we were joined by the Skipper's daughter, Suzanne and her husband, Dean.

Becoming popular now, another wee meet-up in August 2006

November 2006  the skipper was up in Glasgow celebrating his 40th wedding anniversary we took the opportunity to have another reunion in the Cambuslang Bowling Club.
